My boyfriend and I stayed in and grilled steak and rented a movie. I did Kandee’s fall in love with me Valentines Day makeup!
I wore a dark green color on my crease blending into a honey color on my lids and i wore centerfold lipstick from too faced. I’m single this year for valentine’s day but i celebrated with my friend. We saw a movie and had lunch. I had a lot of fun and i think i deserved it after a very long and hectic week at work.
I did the “pin up” girl look with the black gel eye liner, subtle eye shadow for contour, defined eyebrows, soft coral cheeks and sheer red lips. My valentine’s was my patient who I spent 12 hours with. Fortunately, he’s doing well. It was a good day saving his life.
I had a smokey eye look using, Urban Decay’s Sphinx, YDK and Twice Baked, with 24/7 zero eyeliner, SkyScraper Mascara and Guys Love Betsy XXX Shine Lipgloss. Spent Valentine’s Day with my hubby and our Kitty! Happy <3 Day Everyone!
I went to a v-day drag show with my friends and wore the always great smokey eye makeup:) I hope I win the pretty pink makeup mirror!! it is adorable!!
I had a shimmery look going on for Valentine’s day. I had silver, purple and grey all mixed together for my eyes with false eye lashes. The whole look I was going for was fun and pops of color but still natural enough to make it seem like I didn’t cake on my face. I went and had dinner at my boyfriend’s house (which he cooked for me). I hope I get to win this vanity!

Dinner with the date (sushi and ice cream, mmm).
Went to kill time with coffee at a book-store, browsing through and joking about things.
Went to see a thriller.
Went home. Played soft music on a playlist. Lit candles.
Full body massage, etc. Ate chocolate.
And that was that.
Great day.

A VERY natural look with just lipgloss, so he can appreciate me for who I aaam. Heheheh.

I felt absolutely great on Valentine’s Day. I started out with a hair style inspired by you! It was the side burn that you did for New Years look. Then I did a great make-up look. I did a good base face, pink’ish lips and teal eyes. It looked ah-may-zing! I wore a teal colored sweater tunic (off one shoulder down over the hips and butt fitted all the way down), with skinny jeans and boots. I really went out of my norm here. I always fix my hair the same way (down and curly), and never stray much with my makeup. And LORD knows I would NEVER wear an outfit so fitted. I felt sexy, and my fiance` loved the change and the confidence I had. =) Needless to say, however, it ended with an ER visit to get two stitches in my hand because I accidentally stabbed myself with a steak knife 3/4 of an inch deep. =/
Wow! How awesome is this vanity and Kandee Johnson! well, my look wasn’t as glamorous as everyone elses. First off, I’ve got 2 great kids, 9 & 7, so I’ve given up romantic dinners out with my husband to spending a day with 3 special valentines instead!
I’d also like to mention it was a high of 22 degrees here! Not a great invitation to get out! So I was pretty much just a natural beauty with mascara and lipgloss! Even though I didn’t get to go out or spend it alone with my hubby, didn’t make it any less special of a day!

Theeeeeen, went to see my sweet heart boyfriend who wrote me the sweetest Valentine’s day card!! Went to see Valentine’s Day the movie and loved it! I love how it wasn’t just for coupled-people. And finally went to out to each and saw Canada won our first gold (a Montrealer en plus!!)

For valentine’s i did the “Pink Sparkles” look by Kandee, sans the little gems, but it was beautiful. My husband, baby girl and I went to church and out for lunch. Then home for some wine and a good movie. We had a great time!
I made a yummy dinner at home for me and my sweetie. I kept my makeup looking natural and relaxed.

Hello there! I’m not an expert on makeup, though I have watched every single one of Kandee Johnson’s videos. I feel so confident in being able to pull it off when watching the video, and when I try it, it doesn’t go so well. But I’m still practicing and won’t give up!
Valentine’s Day fell on the same day as the Chinese New Year this year! Shared it with my big sister and over the phone with my beautiful Ma. Even if I did have plans for Valentine’s day, I’d still want to spend it with them.
This mirror looks absolutely glamorous. I think I’d like to indulge this once and try to win it! Fingers and toes crossed!
I spent this Valentine’s Day at home in bed because I had two teeth pulled. OUCH! It’s for a good reason though! I’m getting braces to finally straighten my smile at the age of 44. So honestly, I wasn’t wearing any makeup but if I had been up and about I would have been dolled up with a soft natural eye and some super red lips.
I had a special at-home dinner with the hubby after our DD (2yo) went to bed. I went with Kandee’s Fall in Love with me look.

on this valentine’s day i absolutely had to spend it with all of my loves. my husband and two boys. my makeup was perfect! purple and pink ysl eye shadow with pink sephora cheeks. and the perfect light purple lipgloss to match. and of course it all had to sparkle on valentine’s day! ;D they took me on a day filled with shopping and playing around. <3 we couldn't decide on dinner so we got take home chinese and it was perfect.

My boyfriend of 11 years took me and my aunt (who is mentally challenged and we take care of from time to time) out for dinner at our local mom and pop diner. It wasn’t anything fancy, but we all had fun. I even did my aunt’s makeup in an aray of pinks (though very light). My boyfriend commented on how he had the two best looking dates a guy could ask for. A very nice night indeed.

On Valentine’s day I went shopping with my baby girl to buy her a valentines teddy bear, which she kept throwing on the floor and didnt want hahaha. Later we went to have a great supper with some family. I did a smokey grey look with a bit of pink on my eyes and sparkly pink lip gloss on my lips. I hope everyone had a great Valentines day!
Hey Kandee! My boyfriend is out of the country so I couldn’t celebrate V-day with him (I’m sure we’ll make it up!). I wanted to have a good time regardless so I dressed up and put on my ‘special occasion’ makeup (mostly MAC and Clinique products) and went to the mall. Once there, I treated myself with even more makeup from Clinique (another eyeshadow quad and blush!). I was having a blast trying different shadows and creams from different brands (Lancome, YSL, MAC, and more). For me, this was as good as a date with my boyfriend!

I love sparkles so whenever I have a reason to wear them I will. I love urban decay’s gold sparle liquid liner I apply on my lower lash line and it makes my eyes pop. I am always using youtubes videos for help and inspiration.
valentine’s day was jusy me! Kandee’s blog about loving yourself and making yourself beautiful was so loving and made my valentine’s day not as lonely and much more special! kandee said to treat yourself special and buy yourself something , and for the first time , I DID!! my kids went with my ‘X’ and they saw me beautiful and happy as they left!! the gorgeous mirror is the most AMAZING it would be like being cinderella: i turn the mirror on plain but when i turn the mirror off im a princess!!!! i sooooo would LOVE to win that mirror for valentine’s day – thanks!!

My valentines day was spent with some of my girlfriends, going out to dinner and celebrating how great we are, even though we didn’t have real valentines day dates!
I wore makeup inspired by Kandee’s ‘P!NK’ look… a pretty soft pink look, minus the rhinestones lol
i wore a smokey eye. the husbands fav! And the hubby cooked crab stuffed ravioli, calamari, ceasar salad, and brushetta. It was amazing!
I had some of my favorite people over for dinner. I did a smokey pink and purple eye. With shimmer, of course! I used MAC and some of the Twilight collection.
Unfortunately I was sans makeup most of the day, except for the morning when I wore Bare Mineral foundation and bronzer, and some earthy green eyeliner on lower outer corners of my eyes. With no major plans besides taking my boyfriend to the airport, I was pretty low key. Love the mirror, though! I HATE the nasty light I have to work with every morning.

Ummm for Valentine’s Day I thought it would be fun to do the Audrey Hepburn eyeliner look….I used liquid H20 eyeliner by wet’n'wild. And since it was V-day I used pinks and a swirl of silver instead of darker eye shadow and it was cover Girl. I also used Shimmer strips Blush&highlighter for my cheeks to give myself a pretty glow, the color was Rosy Glow…:) And I finished my look with lip liner by Estee Lauder it was called 07-Tawny..very niiiice pink color and then a little gloss over it and my look was complete..:)
I spent my day with my kiddies and after that went out with the ladies for a great Dinner. I had some yummy Shrimp Chow Mein and some deep fried Wontons…..it was soo yummy! It was over all a great day and night…:)

I was single this year so I spent the day with my best friends. We went shopping, ate candy and chocolate covered strawberries, exchanged gifts and watched movies. And dressed up a little! It was fun and laid back
The bf and I made Chicken Parm with noodles in a rose sauce along with bruschetta
I wore a light nude eye with jet black eyeliner and hot pink berry lips with light pink blush.
I didn’t have a valentine so I stayed home watching sappy love movies and eating ice cream. I didn’t wear any makeup but I did make a homemade facial scrub and facial mask and treated myself to a spa day at home. It was quite lovely!

I went to dinner with my cousins I had a smokey eye done from Revlon Colorstay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Nude Elements with a glossy lip in Video by Urban Decay. I love the pink vanity mirror! Very Sheek!!
I spent it alone cuz my boyfriend lives in another city but I stayed in and watched olympics, got dressed in a pink hoody and went natural with light pink lip gloss!!

I made surf and turf with my husband and 2 boys to include them we were snowed in here in MO. I tried my best to recreate Kandees’ make up tortorial. She is such an insperation and a great makeup artist, i can take all the advice i could get.
First off, I saw this mirror on Kandee’s blog and instantly KNEW I HAD TO BUY ONE! The lighting is so terrible in my tiny room and I would just love to be a proud owner of this mirror. I had planned to buy it when I got paid last Friday but I had to pay bills and my sisters birthday was on Valentine’s Day so I wanted to get her a gift. I got her John Mayer concert tickets so I’m probably going to have to wait until next pay day to buy this mirror… That’s why it would be seriously seriously cool if I won it because I want it SO BAD!
For Valentine’s Day, I spent the day with my sister and the rest of my family. We had dinner and then went to see the movie “Valentine’s Day” (which was the perfect movie for this holiday – I definitely recommend). I wore a black knee length skirt that has a little ruffle around the bum area (so cute and flirty!), black tights, and slouch boots from F21 that have red bottoms (like Louboutins.. haha). My top was eggshell white with a big black sequin bow across the front. My red hair (which is pretty long) was straightened with a bit of volume at the crown and slightly flipped out at the ends to show my layers. On my face, I wanted color so I used St. Moritz bronzing mousse, slight bit of ELF bronzing and blush, highlighted with ELF’s “golden bronzer” quad pallet, Revlon’s Pink Pout Matte on the lippies along with clear plumping gloss to make ‘em shine, Maybelline’s Pulse Perfecting mascara (of which I adore), and ELF’s “golden bronzer” again on the eyelids (I love how this quad is multi-purpose!).
My Valentine’s Day was fabulous even though I did not have a “significant other”… Spending the day with my sisters was the BEST!

Right now I am single so on Friday me and one of my best friends went shopping for some adorable clothes, and the day before Valentines day, me and my sister watched Love Actually. Even though it is a Christmas inspired film it is so cute with all of the love stories and we could not resist.
Then, for Valentines day I spent the day with my family because they are the people that I love the most. For make-up I used:
three shades of light pink blended together with a icy glitter color to make sort of a pearl color, gray eyeliner (very simple, just a straight line on the top), black mascara with hints of shimmer, coffee cake colored blush, and a light pink lipstick (by mid day i was wearing chapstick instead… gotta love the cold winter weather).
I stayed away from wearing anything red or pink this year lol, so i wore Kandee Johnson’s 09/10 Runway- soft browns look…..as for how i spent my day, i just hung out with family and friends, didn’t turn out so bad
I spent all day with a good friend and we laughed and shared old memories about friends and college. LOL. Didn’t do any makeup but kept a clean face. Made it to a MAC counter and picked up Vintage Grape blush and one of the new Viva Glam lipsticks. :O)
Happy V-day everyone.
My Valentines was simple. Had a picnic in our room on the bed with my son, as we played Ker-plunk and Toy Story Yahtzee.. (my son is 3) We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Milk and i made a valentines cake, with confetti cake, pink frosting and little heart confetti that my little man sprinkled on top.
As for makeup, it was very simple. Foundation, a glowy-pinky cheek, pink frost eyeshadow and mascara.

I spent the day with my family and BBQd, nothing special, haha, & my step-dad bought my sisters and me roses. I wore bronze colors on the eyes w/ glitter on the lids and pink blush & lipstick.
My boyfriend and I exchanged gifts in the morning… he got me a flash drive for school and the two new Viva Glam lipsticks I’ve been wanting. Then we did some running around, errands and shopping all day, went to the movies to see The Lovely Bones (which was fantastic) and went to dinner at Houlihan’s, where we had some amazing conversation that reminded me why I love him so much. After dinner, he bought me frozen yogurt from my favorite frozen yogurt place ever. It was a great day. :]
Eyes: Bare Study paintpot from MAC, Ruthless deluxe shadow from UD on the inner 2/3 of lid, Walnut Bronze eyeshadow from NYX on the outer 1/3 and into the crease, blended with a matte light brown from the 88 palette, Vanilla eyeshadow from MAC as a browbone and inner corner highlight, Silver-Green liner from Sephora on the lower lashline, black liner on the waterline and mascara.
Cheeks: Well-Dressed blush from MAC.
Lips: Viva Glam Gaga.
Valentine’s Day is my daughter’s birthday, so it is extra special to me. As a family and with her friend we spent the day at a family fun center playing laser tag, roller skating, playing arcade games, etc. We came home in the evening exhausted, at pizza and crashed. I did get a few tv moments with my husband though. I wore a gray smokey eye with a hint of pink for valentine’s day, nude sparkly lip and rosy cheeks. Love ya Kandee and looooove this VANITY!
