What we used: a good pair of tennis shoes (I like Asics); a GREAT sports bra (hi, busty girl here!) I like the Oprah-recommended Enell; TRX Suspension Training system;  resistance bands; lots of sunscreen, water, the UCLA track and the stadium steps and sunglasses.  Have fun!

He had the best dance class, with serious choreography and it so much fun.  He would teach us the counts, and then have us perform. But what made it even better, was despite the fact that it was full of “real” dancers (the world-famous Millenium dance studio is just over the hill after all), is that he made it accessible to everyone.  He always made people feel included and hyped up, and he had his loyal devotees – professional dancers, and “regular” people like me. I put that in quotes, because you all know that I don’t think anyone is “regular.”  I may not be the best dancer  - but I have a lot of fun with it and you forget you are working out.

At any rate, he and I chatted in the parking lot about what’s new and good since we last saw each other,  and we share a common philosophy.  We both wanted to make our little piece of Hollywood (him, celebrity fitness workouts — me, Hollywood backstage moments) available to everyone regardless of geography, profession, age group, socioeconomic status, or whatever other label people slap on us.

Thus, his fitness videos were launched, Hip Hop Abs and the new Insanity (which I saw on the Tyra show, and it looked pretty damn insane).  And well, you all know the story on Vanity Girl Hollywood.  Professional style makeup mirrors and Hollywood vanities for every girl throughout the United States and Canada.
